Professor Bette Liu
Prof Bette Liu is a medical epidemiologist who trained in medicine at the University of Sydney and has a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Oxford. She is based at the National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance (NCIRS) with academic appointments at UNSW and the University of Sydney. Her group specialises in the use of large-scale linked datasets to provide evidence to support the introduction and evaluation of national vaccination programs. She has been a past member of ATAGI and currently sits on ACV and the WHO Technical Advisory Group on COVID-19 vaccine composition.
